According to the Business Today`s 500 most valuable private sector companies in India, Aventis Pharma stands at 241th place, a slip of 69 places from last year`s 172.
The average market capitilization of the company(value of the company) stands at Rs 1,779cr for the period Apl-Oct2008.
In pharmaceuticals sector Sun Pharma leads the pack at 20th place up from 36th last year with a market capitilasation of Rs 29,082.80cr followed by Cipla and Ranbaxy at 44th and 45th place.
